1st episode of my new NYT YouTube series is up! I have always wanted to bring my reporting into video and so @ciara_leone365 and @ginadelaselva dreamt up a series about the people who make up the backbone of our food system. This first episode is about Rahim, who runs a bodega in Red Hook — and accidentally became TikTok famous in the process. Bodegas are the lifeblood of New York, and Rahim is hilarious, unflappable and so kind. Episode link is in my bio, with more to come!
