I am writing a cookbook for kids! Why? Because I am 10 years old at heart. I have wanted to write this book and tell these stories for so so long. Like with Indian-ish, this will be a collaboration with my family and extended community (it sort of feels like Indian-ish, the prequel?). For kids age 8-11 or frankly, adults who don’t like chopping. It’ll be out in 2023! It’s been inspiring to see people like @yewande_komolafe @chefericadjepong getting into the kids space. Here is to more children’s cookbooks that go beyond the beige kids menu fare (swipe for young Priya baking in her prized Baby G). ⚡️⚡️
