Showed up today at the Starbucks in Cary, IL to raise awareness how Starbucks strings along employees by pushing out negotiations for contract renewal. It will be 1 year since the Starbucks in Buffalo, NY won their election to be the first location to unionize and the corporate leaders and CEO of SB are trying to hold off until the last minute to renew in hopes of decertification. In Feb 2023, it will be one year for Cary, Illinois who had to close early today due to staffing issues.
