~ For @FARFETCH #FARFETCHBeauty ~ Farfetch’s melted fuse // Satisfying textures, flowing liquids, molding personal body parts— for me a technical process is the most inspiring part of executing a design. While the process of most techniques I use is actually just a formula you need to repeat as correct as possible, I like to approach it as a kind of experimental beauty routine that has no technical rules (colleagues will disagree lol). Just like that one time I demolded a resin object way too early because I couldn’t resist seeing the object flowing over my worktable, slowly becoming a bobbly version of what it needed to be. It wasn’t the best choice for my deadline, but did made me realise how much I enjoy capturing fluidity in material. Blending these liquid materials with the body feels like body and decoration merge into something more personal.
