We are thrilled to announce the first annual Melrose Hill Block Party, coming Saturday August 20th! This is the culmination of almost a year of work, all in an effort to celebrate the new AND existing communities around Melrose Hill. We are thrilled that our family @bricksandwood and the homies @basic.space partnered with us on this endeavor, helping to expand the scope to include the next wave of LA artists, designers, and storytellers in addition to some of the city’s best restaurants. We worked hard to ensure that entry is FREE, open to the whole community. Please RSVP through the link in bio. We’re grateful to all the restaurants and vendors who signed on to make this lineup one of the most diverse and eclectic of any festival we’ve been a part of. We hope this is the first in an annual series of Melrose Hill Block Parties, laying the template for how we cultivate community in a changing neighborhood. In keeping with the ethos of the event, we have also partnered with our friends @enrichlagardens Enrich is an organization we’ve worked with in the past, and to date they’ve built school gardens at over 200 public schools across Los Angeles. We are asking guests to make a suggested donation at the door, in an effort to expand Enrich’s services at three public schools in the Melrose Hill community.
