✨ Happy National Grandparents Day ✨ Today my heart is filled with gratitude as I celebrate the incredible grandparents in Jeremiah’s life. First, I want to honor my grandfather — who lived 90 beautiful years. One of my favorite blessings is that he was able to meet his very first great-grandson, Jeremiah. That moment will forever hold a special place in my heart. We miss you and love you. Until we meet again in heaven. 12.22.1933-01.14.2024 🕊️ Secondly, my mother — not only the most amazing mom but also the best grandmother. The love, care, and wisdom you pour into Jeremiah is priceless, and I’m so grateful he gets to grow up with your guidance. Third, my father — the best grandfather, always teaching Jeremiah how to play baseball and sharing special moments watching football together. Those memories are building blocks of love and tradition that Jeremiah will carry with him forever. Fourth, Nick’s parents. Even though Jeremiah isn’t your biological grandson, you have loved and embraced him as if he were your own. From the very beginning, you accepted not only me but also Jeremiah, welcoming us into your family without hesitation. He calls you guys Gigi and PopPop with pride and joy — and that love is real and unshakable. Finally, Judy and Gloria — two of our wonderful church friends. When Jeremiah and I first arrived at Stone Hill Church, you both opened your hearts to us. You became like grandmothers in faith and love. Jeremiah especially remembers Lola Glo (“Lola” means grandmother in Filipino), and that bond is something so precious to both of us. Today is a powerful reminder that family is not only defined by blood or DNA, but also by love, kindness, and the bonds that are nurtured through time. Jeremiah is surrounded by an incredible village of grandparents — each one shaping his life in a beautiful way. #nationalgrandparentsday #family #blessed #familyisntalwaysblood #grandparents #greatgrandparent #bestparentsgetpromotedtograndparents #countyourblessings
