I was in Toronto (Canada) executive producing/showrunning #SoulFood (Showtime) on 9/11/01. For days, I wasnt able to enter the U.S. There were no international flights allowed into the U.S. And I really wanted to get to my family A few days in, one of the Teamsters said he knew what border crossing woukd allow us to cross into Buffalo, NY. So we went. I got back into the country. Three flights and a rental car later, and I was in L.A. with my family. So very many souls weren't that fortunate. There were many heroes that day. Many of them lost their lives. Many slowly died later. More still, live with the trauma every, single day. So today, I say a prayer for them all... 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾
