Meet Academy Award-winning Mexican-Kenyan actress, film director, and WildAid ambassador, Lupita Nyong’o. She is known for her role in both Black Panther 1 and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In 2014 she won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in 12 Years a Slave. Additionally, @lupitanyongo has been featured in the films Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the live-action version of The Jungle Book. As well as working on women’s issues and supporting the arts, Nyong'o has traveled to Kenya with WildAid to advocate for elephant conservation.
