Though I would consider myself a maximalist when it comes to wedding stationery (give me allll the embellishments) sometimes the most impactful combination is a design that is artfully understated but accented with tactile elements like embossing or letterpress... something you can run your hands across and feel an impression. For this suite, nearly every card had something blind embossed to bring that consistency all the way through. Starting with their save the dates, a custom crest subtly embossed and then a scaled down version embossed at the top of their invitation. The rsvp card with embossed borders and even the return address embossed along with their crest. Last, but certainly not least, their envelope was lined with an illustrated subtle floral design, also (can you guess?!) blind embossed! I always find it special when a couple appreciates details like these, because as a stationer, I think the pairing of texture and design is a balance and every suite needs a little of both!
