✨A full day in Italy✨ (details + itinerary below) From an 8am early breakfast in the hotel to wandering the busy streets of Milan. In order to make travel arrangements easy, we rented a car but this came with the hard task of figuring out the local parking stations throughout the day. We made sure to visit the Arco della Pace, Duomo di Milano, and the Galleria Vittorio next door for gelato and espresso. After some shopping in the area, we left Milan and drove to Lake Maggiore, about 1.5 hours away. We enjoyed a late lunch at Ristorante Elvezia on Isla Bella, which is only accessible by ferry. This was well worth it, at only $10 a ticket for a ferry that comes every 20-30 minutes. A lavish meal for 2 in Italy will cost you under $100 even with wine, appetizers and main courses. After more shopping and exploring all that this beautiful lake town has to offer, we headed back to the hotel in Milan for dinner. We ventured the streets around our hotel until we found a cozy outdoor table for pasta, which can be found at almost every corner in the city. 🤍🥂
