For me it’s a spiritual practice. @kahilelzabar is a well established master of spiritual jazz, but this record in particular immediately became my most powerful tool for getting people out of their heads and tapped into a collective consciousness. I have seen it time and time again: people just put down their phones, stop what ever they’re doing and become transfixed. It’s the first record I want to share with anyone who wants to listen. I’ve been lucky enough to see this music performed only once and the performance is even more powerful. You will leave feeling different than when you arrived. Hope to see you there.
