A bit of an unusual thank you post from me: Thank you to everyone who came out to my set during the final few hours of the cultural institution that is LOWLANDS. Your smiles will stick with me for a long time ✨ The 28 hours before this set were awful and I considered bailing on the set. The truth is that coming back to Amsterdam is never easy for me as I am always confronted with the things I ran away from. Usually I can manage to power through it but this time things really exploded and honestly? They have left me broken and a shell of myself. However, something very familiar happened last night. I once again sought refuge in the dancefloor and the people on it and just like my teens, I felt safe and happy again. And that’s why I will not leave clubs for a long time because for us who genuinely are there for the music, there truly is no age cap. How can you put an age restriction on being happy and dancing? You can’t. Thank you for all your lovely messages, I’m going through them all with a big smile on my face this - hungover - afternoon. I love you all! ❤️ thank you @lowlands_fest for this opportunity I’ll never forget it. As for myself, it’s gonna take me some time to centre myself again so I might be off for a while.
