“Gravel by necessity happens in rural, off-grid places which aren’t really safe for a lot of marginalized folks. If you want to go on a bikepack on minimal maintenance roads, you’re not near cities usually, that’s a piece of it that we don’t talk about. All of a sudden I’m in the middle of Trump country and I don’t know if I’m safe.
