Time slows down when you’re in the tube. Even more so when your friend and director @alekparker hands you a camera that shoots 4K at a 1000 fps and you’ve got @kellyslater flying by you going a lot faster than most. If you haven’t seen the series both Kelly and Alek made together during their 2019 year on tour, you definitely should. I was so stoked to join for parts of the year during the project to shoot a few photos and film quite a bit too. The intimacy, the connection, quality, and overall collaboration in making a project like this is unprecedented. I remember one of the first conversations we had about this project at a lunch in South Africa a few years before, but to see all their hardwork and vision come to life has been really incredible. Thank you for sharing Kelly and for always trusting me with cameras of all sorts to capture also to @cbergquist for dialing this setup and doing all the color work too, be sure to check the drone shots he did this day, they’re insane!!
