More film stories. Back in March there was a listing for a Yashica Mat medium format film camera for sale on PEI. Another rarity. Messaged the seller and they were prompt and easy to deal with. After very little back and forth (their price was very fair and I didn’t want to let this one get by me), we decided to meet at their home in Kensington. When I arrived, an 80 year old fella greeted me and took me inside. There he had this beautiful camera, with the original box from the late 60’s, ready to go. You’d have thought it was brand new. “I shot two rolls of film at a wedding in the early 70’s and haven’t touched it since. I just want to see someone use it”.
