Hi, I’m Katie, and I’m the gal behind Beach Reads & Bubbly! 💘💘💘💘 I created this account back in 2020 to share what I was reading with my friends, and it’s remained exactly that 3 years later! While the community has grown beyond my wildest dreams, I am still just a chick reading books and letting you know what I’m loving. A lot of my favorite books are often deemed “guilty pleasures,” and I am here to remove all the guilt and help connect you with as many books that bring you pleasure as possible. Life is too short to suffer through books you don’t love! My favorite genres are romance & thrillers, but I am open to everything! I coined the term “B.R.A.D.” a few years back, which stands for Beach Reads After Dark and is basically a steamier romance book that is heavy on the romance and light on the plot (if you know what I mean😏). If you want to find my B.R.A.D. recommendations, they are all saved in my B.R.A.D. highlights! After I finish a book, I will post my review on my Instagram and hop on stories to yap about my thoughts. Oftentimes, I pair the book with a drink that I attempt to make on my stories. Also, on my stories, I share a lot of my day-to-day, along with beauty and fashion finds that I can’t keep to myself. One of the coolest things to happen since starting this account is Beach Reads and Bubbly bookclubs happening all over the country.
