☀️ SOS Day 5: Teams Explorer, Adelante, & Marist 🌿 Today, all 105 SOS volunteers from Teams Adelante, Explorer, and Marist came together to serve at @empowerfarms—an organic permaculture farm where purpose and community grow side by side. 🥕 Empower Farms is a certified-organic farm that employs individuals with disabilities and nourishes the local community through sustainable farming. Their mission is rooted in the healing power of nature, inclusion, and the dignity of meaningful work. 🌱 Our volunteers helped clear weeds, prep planting areas, and care for the land—gaining a deeper appreciation not only for the hard work that goes into farming but also for the people who harvest the food that ends up on our tables.
