Beautiful girl, I challenge you very deeply, to reveal to yourself where you’re trying to find validation and fulfillment. Not where you want to find it, but how you’ve truly been seeking it. Body admiration and physique? Boys? Status? Success? Clothes? Food? Alcohol? Nicotine? I’ve been there. All these things we seek seem to cause destruction and hurt, don’t they? I mean, in my life, all they seemed to cause was comparison, striving, a lack of fulfillment, and an eating disorder. What if I told you that the one who created you hates the destruction and pain that those things cause? What if I told you that His heart hurts to see you cry and ache? What if I told you that all He wants is to love you? But who forces someone to love them? He just wants you to receive it. At a women’s core, we all want to be valued and seen for our beauty, internally & externally. We have God given desires in our hearts that can only be filled by Him, because we were made to be loved by Him. We all have to come to ask ourselves, if we’re wise- what are we seeking in this life? What is my goal of this life and where is my soul heading after death? Will I aimlessly wander in this life? Chasing things like worldly beauty and fortune that will soon pass away, or will I give my life to the one who knows what I need? The one who made me. The one who says my value is much more. The one whose love never causes destruction.
