Berry compote recipe: I opted for strawberries and blueberries here because that’s what we had on hand! Feel free to use fresh berries as well! Berries- 1 cup Lemon juice-1 tbsp Maple syrup-2 tbsp Cinnamon- 1 tsp Cover to soften for about 5 minutes and to a boil on the stove. Use a potato masher to blend ingredients once boiling. Simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened (make sure it’s still at a pourable consistency!) Have fun with this one! Any fruit works and sweeten to taste!!
