Earlier this week, Yellowstone National Park was subjected to the worst flooding in its history. Intense rain, warm temperatures, and an unseasonably deep snowpack combined to destroy roads, bridges, and structures throughout the northern region of the Park and southern Montana. Housing for Yellowstone employees, pictured above, literally floated away. Roads disappeared as a result of quick, intense erosion. And bridges were torn away by historic river flows. As a result, there is an immediate need for financial assistance to help with the most pressing issues facing the Yellowstone community.
