LONDON DEGREE SHOW: LAST CHANCE!
Nicole Frobusch is among those students of The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts (@schooloftraditionalarts) who is exhibiting her work at our annual Degree Show at The Garrison Chapel (@the_garrison_chapel) in West London.
Nicole (@nicolefrobusch) has researched the divine feminine found in ancient civilisations through working with a variety of media, including earthenware, ceramics, tiles, paintings, figurines, and vessels, using handmade pigments sourced from sacred sites in England and Italy.
She said: "I would like to inspire and reawaken the connection with the materials and the ritualistic aspect of creating the art pieces to aim for a consciousness to pass on , the importance to embrace sustainable art practices.
"In this body of work is the dance between the feminine and masculine expressed through symbolism."
“Now I’m finished my studies at The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Art, I am aiming to continue my research, which is a life journey, really,” said 51-year-old Nicole.
■ You can view Nicole’s work as part of The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts’ Degree Show at The Garrison Chapel, Chelsea Barracks, London, SW1W 8BG. It will run until Friday (July 29) from 11am-4pm daily.
