It must have water to bind too. 2. You are using a Hyaluronic Acid serum as your moisturiser. Your HA serum, essence, mist etc is NOT a moisturiser. After you grab on to that water with Hyaluronic Acid, you need to seal it with a moisturiser, to prevent moisture loss. You can also completely skip the serum step and just use a moisturiser that contains HA and have it done in one step for you.
