A huge congratulations to Dennis Thurner of Garnish Samui for winning the Campari Red Hand Thailand 2025 title! He’s made history as the first bartender from outside Bangkok to clinch the top spot. His journey now continues to Milan, where he’ll represent Thailand in the regional round at Campari’s famed headquarters. This year’s competition was fiercely contested, featuring an exceptional line-up of bartenders—many already recognised with notable accolades. Dennis, well-seasoned in the competitive scene, brought his own impressive track record. He previously entered the Campari Red Hand competition in 2018, but that year the title went to Supawit Muttarattana, one of Thailand’s finest, who won the regional title, making Supawit Muttarattana Campari’s first champion and setting an incredibly high benchmark. The event opened with an inspiring masterclass by sustainability trailblazer Matt Whiley, who shared his expertise on transforming surplus ingredients into extraordinary cocktails. He even treated attendees his creation—though, to everyone’s disappointment, the tastings were limited.
