It could be you... only this time, it’s not. It’s Kev’s turn. Kev is my Grandad and he recently turned 90, which meant I was asked by the family to make a cake based around a passion of his. So with most of his obvious interests being used up on his 70th and 80th cakes, it was slim pickings indeed. Aside from the joy of getting his car serviced, he also has a penchant for dabbling in scratch cards and lottery tickets, seemingly always having won at least a tenner every time I speak to him. I’m not sure what he’ll do if he ever wins big, or even if he’ll tell any of us to be honest. I’m sure he has a master plan for when his numbers eventually come up though.
