What does deep listening look like to you? #TodaysInspiration for #WomensMonth is a self-portrait series by Khadija Saye, titled "Dwelling: In this Space we Breathe." Khadija Saye, also known as Ya-Haddy Sisi Saye, was a Gambian-British photographer and careworker whose work explored the migration of traditional Gambian spiritual practice. Saye listened to her ancestors in this body of work and considered this series “the search for what gives meaning to our lives and what we hold onto in times of despair.” Saye transitioned at 24 years old, in the Grenfell tower fires in 2017. We uplift her spirit as we sit with the power of her work today.
