#GetDressedWithMe #GRWM Okay so two strong opinions with this outfit. 1. I think that polyester garments if they continue to be produced have to be durable. That needs to be a part of extended producer responsibility. Any polyester garment which falls apart should be able to be returned to the brand (producer) at any point making it their problem to handle. This will immediately decrease the polyester problem because much of what is being produced today is a losing game. The reason I say so is because I’ve had this bandeau bra for twenty years. It’s becoming raggedy on the sides but I have to say this is a product that’s lasted half my lifetime. If we’re going to have a product which is virtually indestructible it can’t be filtered into a fast fashion model of one-time-use products. That’s where the regulation needs to be. And if stores had a return policy that stuck the shit to them, people would only use polyester in cases as such this indestructible bandeau bra. They produce the way they do because it’s a losing game for the planet but it needs to be more of a losing game for the polluter. 2. Quite a few of you have complimented the way I put neutrals together and it’s so so nice! Honestly. You’re the sweetest. But I need to say with whites you can literally put any white combination together and it will be fine. Be brave! Just play with whatever you already have, I promise it will be okay! You can trust me on that. This upcycled dress is a symphony of white and you see how it all goes together? You need to just trust your eye. Take everything white that you have in your closet and just try and make some new outfits. You might be surprised. Coastal grandmas don’t all wear the same white at all! They mix textures and shades and you can too. Half of being really satisfied with what you wear and how you look is being confident in your choices and how they look on you. You only have to please yourself here. Remember that! ♥️
