Clint Butler and a friend were quizzed by officers on why they were in town during lockdown - telling them they’d ‘come to buy Call of Duty because they couldn’t sit around’. Butler then kicked one officer in the groin before he was restrained by cops using incapacitant spray and arrested. He gave a false name before finally admitting who he was and that he’d absconded from HMP Spring Hill open prison in Buckinghamshire.
