The city cleared the bunkers available in the public space, unused since the Second World War. In the first weeks of the war, the inhabitants of Lviv also took refuge in underground car parks and cellars adapted for shelters. In one such underground car park, located in a new apartment building in the suburbs, the entire free space is filled with styrofoam beds, couches, tourist chairs, foam pads and thermal blankets.
