My favorite part of life is who you encounter during the ride. @bensisto used to work at @acehotel and gave me my first lobby residency, many lobby nights after, and referred me to play some really dope private events at Liberty Hall. Ace is where and why I can do a 6 hour set easily (I actually really love to do 6 hour sets) and run up and down a flight of steps to use the bathroom well before Theo Parrish and Andrew Ashong’s “Flowers” ends 😂. Ben is just an interesting dude and is adept at documentation and collecting . He made a documentary where he traced the origins of “Who Let the Dogs Out?”. Seriously. It’s a great film and not at all what you expect. If you love music and IP law it’s a good time. It’s on Hulu. Ben’s latest project is collecting products over the ages that allowed us to ask questions.
