Sunscreen is really personal! Everyone seems to have a checklist that they use to define what the perfect sunscreen is That’s why when someone asks “what’s the best sunscreen ever” ... well it depends on what YOU are looking for. Some people emphasize price, or the filters that are used, the finish, the smell, some people experience eye burn while others do not. Pilling. White cast. Sensitive skin? Available outside the US. It goes on and on. I think I’d argue that sunscreen is the hardest skincare product to help people find their match. There is so much trial and error and unfortunately it’s really easy to give up the search. Korean and Japanese sunscreens are incredible and so far ahead of what the US can offer. But at the same time they are difficult to get and often you don’t know if it’s an authentic product + shipping time can take months. If you can find Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun but also ensure that it’s sold directly from Beauty of Joseon and not a 3rd party - get it! But note that this is not a waterproof sunscreen so it’s better as an everyday spf. I personally find myself reaching for a light sunscreen that feels like lotion. I want it to be SPF30 or higher. It cannot burn my eyes, nor will I put up with any pilling. I have combination skin and love hydrating products since I use lots of retinol and AHA/BHA. Sunscreen products that I have been reaching for lately: -Summer Fridays Shade Drops Broad Spectrum SPF 30 -Everyday Humans Resting Beach Face Sunscreen Serum SPF 30 -Supergoop Glow Screen (as a makeuo base) -Naturium Dew Glow Moisturizer SPF 50 -Skin 1004 Centella SPF 50 -Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun SPF 50 -La Roche Posay Anthelios UV Correct SPF 70 -Tatcha The Silk Sunscreen SPF 50 -Purito Daily Go To SPF 50 -Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel SPF 50 I was honestly just going to type out 3 faves but couldn’t narrow it down so sorry if this is overwhelming lol
