Lunges are one of the most humbling exercises I can think of. Often times our bodyweight is enough to do the trick but I see people adding weight to their lunges while also adding improper form to their movement. Adding weight before you have perfected your form and movement is a lose/lose situation. Not only do you usually not work the targeted muscle but you are also setting yourself up for injury. When it comes to your fitness and nutrition journey, don’t have too much pride to take it slow, learn the basics, and set a proper foundation for you to grow on.
