Unlock your signature look by understanding highlighting your unique face.
Your face shape and the shape you want to highlight when doing your makeup may not be the same.
It may change depending on your hairstyle, inspo or mood (hey look queens).
Spend some time in the mirror and notice the size of your face, do you have a lot of space to work with? Does your face feel crowded easily? Is it narrow? Is it wide? Long? Short?
Do you want to add more softness to your face? Do you want more angles?
An example of highlighting gone wrong is wanting one result but applying techniques that yield the opposite. Like where you start and end your nose highlight or where you place the highlight on your chin.
How far in should you highlight around the eyes or temples?
Should you angle your highlight up? It all depends.
You don’t need this much concealer. I wanted to illustrate some other placement ideas for you.
