The last 48 hrs have been a roller coaster of emotions. Plenty tears of joy, it made us reminisce about the first 3months of opening @tatemo_htx I would tear up from frustration mixed with fear. I remember one Saturday night we had one guest. ( yes one guest on a Saturday Night) I was thinking to my self damn what did I just get our selves into. I vividly remember brushing the tears out my face that night as I was washing the dishes. Two years later it’s all been a blur. People may associate us with the restaurant that makes tortillas and while that may be true, now days we are more of the restaurant to teach individuals discipline and resilience. Obviously none of the restaurant success belongs to me, it’s belongs to the team that continues to push and grow, we have a young core of professionals that understand the responsibility of trying to open doors for the next generation of immigrants in this field.
