The team at AllBright are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II today. Not only was she the world’s oldest and longest-reigning monarch, but she was also a role model of strength, empowerment, and leadership for women around the globe. 👑 She was an active member of the Women’s Institute from 1943 to 2022. 👑 She endorsed the Succession to the Crown Act 2013, which altered the laws of succession to the British throne to be defined by birth order, regardless of gender. 👑 She endorsed the Commonwealth Charter 2013 section that states ‘gender equality and women’s empowerment are essential components of human development and basic rights.’ Thank you for being the ultimate female role model for 70 years.
