We're excited to welcome Doña Antonia Zárate by Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes to our museum. Currently on loan from @nationalgalleryofireland, it is the latest in a series of partnership loans which focus on one single exceptional painting. A supreme portraitist, the artist Goya is most famous for the piercing likenesses of his sitters and his dynamic style of painting based on fluid, highly accomplished brushwork.
