This morning we opened our doors in the iconic Barons Court tube station. The bakery design reflects the eclectic mix of styles and movements in the area, including Victorian mansion blocks, art and crafts cottages and regency terraces. This Edwardian building with colourful art nouveaux stain glass window detailing is a modern ode to the rich design history of the location it sits in. Light-hearted wall lights take reference from the swan neck signage found in the station. At the mezzanine level, the balustrade was inspired by the window arches and stain glass windows itself, letting the light colourfully glow into the space below.
