We've all heard the quote "Dress for Success" or "Dress for the job you want, not the one you have." It is important to take time to be presentable, clean, and nice clothes when you are going in will get you more time and attention. This does not mean you need to go into debt to drive a fancy car, but you do need to take time to look sharp and show that you care.
