Let me introduce you to my friend, @delphinejelk. You may not know her by name, but if you’ve ever worn @guerlain’s La Petite Robe Noire, Mon Guerlain, or L’Homme Idéal, you know her work. And now, she’s the perfumer behind the new Shalimar L’Essence. I’ve been such a fan of hers for so long. There’s something special about the way she creates. It feels so personal to me, like every fragrance she’s made was made “just for me.” She has this gift of making me fall in love with notes I’d usually never wear, and transforming them into something wearable, elegant, and unmistakably ”her.” For Shalimar’s 100th anniversary, Delphine has created something truly stunning. Shalimar L’Essence Eau de Parfum Intense returns to the heart of the original(that textured vanilla), and deepens it, intensifying the composition while preserving everything that makes Shalimar iconic. Getting to sit next to her and catch up at the Shalimar centenary celebration was such an honor. She’s as gracious and brilliant as her fragrances, and I’m so proud to call her a friend.
