So excited to start sharing this beautiful rococo inspired Little Mermaid photoshoot (and videoshoot!) I got to do with @dphotopro a couple weeks ago in my newly upgraded pink Ariel gown! @fireflypath made this dress for me for my very first music video, and it’s still one of my most treasured costumes. I am so excited to finally be able to share the updates with you, and there was no one more perfectly suited to capture them than Danielle! Her photos are always SO beautiful and feel like a fairytale come to life! Feel free to swipe thru to see more of the details, (both original and new!) Thank you SO much Danielle, for the incredible shoot!! (And ofc to @sydneyelizabethhh for all of your help!) It was time for a change, and @FireflyPath was up for the challenge! We’ve upgraded the sleeves and bodice with new fabrics and appliqués, and strengthened the corsetry, which had grown a little tired over years and years of loving wear. For this shoot I wore the rococo cage Firefly Path & team made for me, and I love the more structured shape it gives the skirt. I am obsessed with the updates on this already gorgeous dress, but most of it stayed the same, because it was already so stunning as it was. This dress has been recreated many times over the years by other talented creators, and I’m so honored to get to own the original by the Faerie Queen herself! JoEllen brought every detail to life that I dreamed up, and made it so much better than I could have imagined-and now it has new life & is ready for even more special upcoming projects, both Disney inspired & original! I can’t wait to share them all with you, but before I launched into the new music projects it’ll be featured in, we had to do a classic Ariel photoshoot to commemorate the gown, and capture all of the special new details that make it even more magical!
