Today, we hosted our first in-person grantee partner convening since 2019 at our NYC warehouse! We welcomed program leaders to discuss how we can best improve outcomes for families across the City. Today’s convening focused on how to more fully engage kinship caregivers, whether they’re grandparents or other relatives who have custody of young family members. Kinship caregivers head 5% of Good+ families, and many more benefit when additional family members support parents in raising children. The convening featured NYC Department of Aging Community Coordinator Brandy Orange and Good+Foundation Senior Director of Learning & Capacity Building, Dr. Alan-Michael Graves.
