Please remember, if you’re considering getting a feeder, it must be cleaned thoroughly with the nectar replaced every few days. If a feeder is rusted, TOSS IT!!! This can build up in their bodies and poison them, leading to their death. The best feeders are actually the plastic ones, easy to clean and cheaper than the more decorative tin ones. Also good to note NEVER BUY THAT RED nectar you see sold in the stores. This is just dye and actually BAD for the birds as well. All you need is four cups of water to one cup of sugar.
