Tom Dixon TWENTY x #LDF2022 presents, Mycelium Sculptures.⁠ ⁠ These sculptures were developed from a packaging project we have been working on lately. Mycelium, also known as mushrooms. ⁠ ⁠ Our partners, @magicalmshroom, are growing very quickly as a company, making more and more packaging from mushrooms in place of polystyrene. However, we wanted to demonstrate mycelium as a material in a more permanent use and showcase its property to hold scents well. In turn, we have created a series of ‘Scent Columns’ in solid mycelium, infused with a perfume formulated for the skin.⁠ ⁠ Come see and smell at our TWENTY exhibition from 17th September.
