Meet HERA (#A5504321). She’s been at the Lancaster Shelter since 9/19/22. She’s an approximately 6-year-old CANE CORSO, suffering with bilateral cherry eyes. She has a great temperament but was deeply at risk of not making it out of the shelter alive. EVERY @laanimalservices & LA County shelter is over-crowded & euthanizing dogs with little to know warning. @bubblesdogrescue pulled her and she was transported to a qualified home care service in Tarzana, CA. This provider is fully experienced in post-op, medicine administration, special needs, wound care & any other needs HERA will have. Here, she will decompress and heal from the cherry eye surgery done at the shelter. When healed, HERA will go to a foster until she can be adopted. @guidrysguardian has committed $1500 to her transport, boarding and post-op care. Please help us get there.
