THIS IS STRAIGHT RYE WHISKEY DONE RIGHT! 🥃 We simply cannot contain our excitement and had to share the news here FIRST with our #WhiskeyFamily: Batch 001 of Uncle Nearest Uncut/Unfiltered Rye will be released at Nearest Green Distillery on Saturday, September 17th at 9:30 AM! And believe us when we say... y'all ain't ready for this one! 😉 In the words of Uncle Nearest 4x Master Blender of the Year, @victoriaeadybutler , “My great-great-grandfather was known for his whiskey filtration method. But this 100% rye is so spectacular, we dared not cut or filter it.” The funny thing about Tennessee, is for all our stunning farms and incredible farmers, we can’t grow rye worth a damn. A grain so easily grown in other states, gets chocked up in our soil. So, we went out to find the best straight rye and brought it back home to rest in used Uncle Nearest barrels. WHERE DID WE FINALLY FIND IT? NEW YORK, BABY! 🗽🍎 Born in the north, then raised for at least four years in the big city, before moving to God’s Country for some well-deserved rest.
