On 30th September BASSIANI hosts one of the major figures on the modern techno scene DR. RUBINSTEIN. As a woman, she found it hard in a conservative society to fully realize her talent and visions and this cultural constraint prompted her to move to Berlin in search of a new life, with clubs becoming a new shelter. Dancing transformed into an act of meditation, pushing her into total self-oblivion and encouraging to start playing by herself. DR. RUBINSTEIN’s fierce and straightforward sets influenced by acid and the spirit of the 90’s rave, soon became an undisputable part of the dancefloors globally. Playing on this night alongside will be the firepower of the Tbilisi techno scene, a SHIN RECORDS founder NEWA and ZITTO with sharp, rough and yet very melodic sets. HOROOM will be welcoming the founder of ODD, Brazil’s leading electronic music collective and the founder of IN THEIR FEELINGS label DAVIS. Transformation of Sao-Paulo’s turbulent political and cultural life - an ambitious aim, considering the scale of the metropolis remains an uncompromising desire of DAVIS and his peers. This desire made ODD not only position itself as a party series but the network of resistance and resilience, which united thousands of like-minded dancers and exactly this spirit of resistance was key during ODD’s union with BASSIANI/HOROOM. Represented with characteristic sound on this night will be the club’s residents, KVANCHI, who always manages to transform the party into a true celebration and alongside him, the club’s pride, producer HVL.
