Do you meal prep or fast? Not sure who needed to hear this, but it's time for us to start making some changes! Meal Prepping and Fasting have been HUGE for me on my journey and I already know it can help y'all too! Meal prepping and fasting are both important for different but complementary reasons, especially when it comes to health, discipline, and overall well-being! Meal Prepping: ♦️Saves Time & Money – Prepping meals in advance reduces daily cooking time and prevents unnecessary spending on takeout. ♦️Encourages Healthier Eating – You control ingredients, portions, and nutritional balance, helping you avoid unhealthy last-minute choices. ♦️Supports Fitness Goals – Whether you’re trying to lose weight, build muscle, or maintain energy levels, meal prepping ensures you get the right nutrients. ♦️Reduces Stress – Knowing your meals are ready eliminates the daily “what should I eat?” decision fatigue. Fasting: ♦️Enhances Spiritual & Mental Clarity Fasting is often used for spiritual reflection and mental reset. ♦️Boosts Metabolism & Autophagy – It helps the body cleanse itself by removing damaged cells and regenerating new ones. ♦️Improves Insulin Sensitivity – Regular fasting can help regulate blood sugar and reduce the risk of chronic diseases. ♦️Builds Self-Control – It strengthens discipline, helping you break cravings and emotional eating habits.
