The best part...these recipes are dairy free, refined sugar-free, some high in protein, and all decadently delicious- without any gums or fillers! my key tips and tricks! - use high-quality and thick milk- coconut or almond milk is best! I love @elmhurst1925 @threetreesfoods @malkorganics because they don’t have any gums or fillers to take away from the creamy texture! - add a binder- I love using yogurt and/or protein powder. It serves as a natural thickener without using any pudding mix or gums! - banana (optional) but recommended! It makes the creamiest texture and adds a little natural sweetness how to spin: - if your texture is icy or crumbly, try different milks to see which one you prefer best! - after one spin mine is always very dry, so I add a tiny bit of milk and scrape down the ice from the sides to respin. repeat until a thick gelato like consistency forms! - Ive found the mix-in setting doesn’t really work well incorporating the ingredients throughout, so if you’re adding them make sure to chop beforehand and maybe even mix on the re-spin setting! *** if you don’t have a @ninjakitchen creami machine (which I suggest you do😊) you can also make these recipes in a high speed blender or food processor- you just might not get the same consistency!
