“You are powerful beyond measure and ignite by simply Being”✨ . It was an honor to collaborate with @garygraham422 on his video campaign for @makingthecuttv . He asked me to create a custom poem for the campaign. His only direction was that it be a letter to my younger self. Working on television time, I only had a a few hours to go within and write this piece. I also created the percussion and beats behind the spoken word piece that you hear. Equipped with just a voice recorder, I walked around the area we were filming in, picked up a few rocks and went to work. Train tracks, gates and pebbles joined me as we created the audio sound to accompany my words. In the end, we created magic. It was a beautiful collaboration of the elements of the earth. The dirt, pebbles and rocks of earth, the wind and air of my spirit and the subtle yet fiery passion of the brilliant @garygraham422 .
