when you spend a week being told you don’t belong in spaces you helped create, it’s worth boosting your own ego. I tend to favor self-timer photoshoots in my apartment journalists are devalued in every industry unless their “following” speaks for itself. We shouldn’t have to do our jobs AND be “influencers” to be taken seriously. We’re not paid enough for that - we’re paid horribly to begin❤️
