#AD What’s a celebration without your favorite drinks? In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and Dia de los Meurtos, I went to @walmart to grab some @pepsi and @brisk to sip while decorating our ofrenda! Raising a bi-cultural toddler, I feel an immense duty to share with her all of the things about my Hispanic Heritage. Dia de Muertos wasn’t something my dad celebrated with me growing up, but I loved talking about it anytime I’d see others celebrating the holiday! Now that Penelope has been learning more about Dia de Muertos through movies and books, I thought it would be the perfect time to really share more of this Mexican tradition with her (and Esposo too, of course!)
